Q. Why are your processors so inexpensive compared to the other two brands?
A. Maybe you should ask them why they are so expensive! Don't let them fool you that their boxes are better. 'You get what you pay for' is not always true.

Q. What samplerate does the DSPXmini use?
A. All of the BW processors use internal samplerates ranging from 48KHz to 768KHz to match a particular processing stage's requirements.

Q. I need to control the processor from a remote site. Is this possible?
A. Sure. The DSPXmini and DSPmpX have Ethernet and serial remote control as standard.

Q. How many DSP chips are there in the DSPXmini?
A. 6 24 bit DSP chips!

Q. What's the difference between the DSPXmini and DSPX?
A. The DSPXmini has less processing power which results in slightly reduced distortion control. There is also fewer processing controls. The mini also has no outputs other than the stereo generator. There is also no front panel LED metering. The metering is accessed via the LCD screen or remote control program.

Q. What's the difference between the DSPXmini and DSPmpX?
A. The mpX is only a stereo generator, with safety clippers for added peak control. There are no multiband dynamic control sections (AGC or limiters) like in the mini.

Q. What's the difference between the original DSPXmini and DSPXmini SE?
A. The SE version has different crossover topology, new limiters and upgraded clippers making it sound smoother, more relaxed and with increased lower bass. It also adds minor features like mono input choices and right trim balance.

Q. What is the latency (delay) through the unit?
A. DSPXmini-FM SE has an input-to-output latency of 6 ms.

Q. I am not sure. Can I try one?
A. Sure. You can try risk free safe in the knowledge that BW will be happy to refund you if your not entirely happy.
